Sitting out the Covid-19 in the USA - Part II

We continue to wait out the Covid-19 pandemic in Florida, but now we are in Key Biscayne, FL.  Our generous friends Bernie and Marilyn Horowitz have organized for us to use their beautiful apartment in a lavish resort community.  We're on the 12th floor with views of the Atlantic ocean as well as Biscayne Bay.  

In addition to the swim club on the beach, this building has its own large pool with limited access during the pandemic.  Susan goes early every day and swims her usual laps.

We've been able to order online from Whole Foods and Winn-Dixie.  Each has good shopping and delivery service.  We drove over to Coconut Grove and Coral Gables just to have a look yesterday.  There is some splendid architecture and beautiful tree lined streets.

To celebrate the Fourth of July, Susan prepared steaks, corn on the cob, avocado salad and a fresh baked blueberry bumble.  YUM!
